In the first season, homeless youth in Toronto used camera phones to film their lives. Participants were given audio and video gear and attended a one-day workshop to learn the basics of filmmaking. The homeless youth featured also received one-on-one training with professional filmmakers.

Their episodes take us inside the world of teens living with differences, looking for representation and recognition.
