Overview

Vernon and Eddie are two bumbling shoe store clerks who accidentally pay for a purchase with a bad check from a depleted bank account. Desperate to retrieve their misplaced checkbook, which they inadvertently handed to a customer, they track the individual to an apartment. Their frantic search quickly turns chaotic as they find themselves tangled up with the woman in the apartment and her highly jealous husband.
