
On an open‐air stage, a small town’s Pioneers enact King Midas’s tale: granted by Bacchus the power to turn everything he touches to gold, Midas’s greed backfires when even food becomes gold. Desperate, he begs the god to reverse the gift, only to be left with donkey’s ears as a lifelong reminder.
