The film tells a touching story about Marina, a still very young but already cynical TV journalist, who goes to the “Parus” gardening cooperative to make a report for Navy Day. Marina films her own grandfather, a former sailor, and other retired men, and, without her realizing it, her interaction with the elderly changes something in her soul. In the finale, the veterans raise the flag, the anthem plays in the background, and Marina cries.
